The "Project WickedBird" will be my 2nd total car project.  My last project was a Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra Replica in 2000 that came out really nice and that I drove and showed for about 3 years taking 1st in Class in every show I entered (about 8 shows).  The Firebird project is a bit more ambitious and I am certainly "in over my head" in a few areas...but that's what makes it fun!

When I built my Cobra, I also created a "Cobra Build Site" that detailed my progress.  Over the 3-4 years that the site was live, it had received over 75,000 views and became a valuable resource for many others building Factory Five Cobras.  I hope that this site can become a similar resource for Firebird enthusiasts.

I am located just over the Massachussetts border in Southern, NH near the coast.  If you are in the area, let me know, I'd be glad to show you the project!  I am not a mechanic or a bodyman, just your average car enthusiast.  This is also one of the reasons that I purchased a project car in a "partially completed" state.  I was not interest in having to replace floor pans, quarters, etc.  Nor do I have the ability to build the bottom end of a motor.  These are some of the reasons that made this car the perfect project for me.
